Regional Family Dispute Resolution

The family mediation service supports families to work through disagreements and make decisions together without needing to go through the court system. The service helps people reach practical, workable agreements on a wide range of family law matters including parenting arrangements about the ongoing care of children.

Parents are supported to focus on what matters most by creating space for calm conversation, guided by trained mediators who help everyone feel heard and understood. Depending on a family’s needs, support may also include counselling or group programs that offer additional guidance as people adjust to new routines, responsibilities, and relationships.
