Program Overview

Each young person is supported by a dedicated Life Skills Educator, who works alongside them to build essential everyday skills such as:

  • Managing a household
  • Budgeting and financial literacy
  • Cooking and nutrition
  • Education, training, and employment pathways
  • Building healthy relationships and community connections

Our approach is centred on empowerment, providing a balance of independence and tailored support. Within a safe and nurturing environment, young people are encouraged to grow at their own pace while developing the capability and confidence to successfully transition into adulthood.

By fostering independence and meaningful community connection, the Independent Living Pods create a strong foundation for a more secure and self-sufficient future.

Who is it for

Our Independent Living Pods provide safe, supportive, and purpose-built accommodation for children and young people aged 16-18  who are under the Care and Guardianship of the State.
