Today we had the privilege of welcoming The Honourable Jo Palmer to our CatholicCare Hobart office. As the Minister for Community Services and Development, Women, and the Prevention of Family Violence, Minister Palmer paid a special visit to our CatholicCare Multicultural Employment Services team.
During her visit, Minister Palmer took the time to connect with our dedicated team members and gain insights into the impactful work they do. Minister Palmer had the opportunity to meet some of our clients who generously shared their stories. It was a powerful reminder of the positive change that can be achieved through compassion and support.
The visit also extended to the SafeChoices team, who provide crucial assistance to individuals experiencing family violence. The discussions held during this segment of the visit emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts in creating a safer and more supportive community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Minister for taking the time to visit our office, recognising the work of our dedicated teams, and engaging with the individuals whose lives have been positively transformed through CatholicCare's services.
